Voyagers John Lewis and Shawn Maxey on the Tayana 37 Pilothouse cutter Active Transport have been through the Panama Canal three times. They went through twice as line handlers on other voyager's boats and once aboard Active Transport. On one of their Panama Canal transits they went on a VIP tour inside the workings of the canal at the Miraflores Locks. John then posted a series of photos from the tour on their blog. Not only are these photos a view of the canal most people don't ordinarily see, John has done a marvelous job writing information-heavy captions to accompany them.
