A newly published eBook by sailors Nadine Slavinski and Markus Schweitzer is a detailed and fairly comprehensive cruising guide focused on the island groups of the so-called Coconut Milk Run — the popular trade wind route from the Americas to Australia. The book covers Panama, the Galapagos Islands, Marquesas, Tuamotus, Society Islands, Cook Islands, Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu and New Caledonia with additional sections on the U.S. East Coast, Panama Canal, New Zealand and Australia. It is an attractively priced, no-nonsense guide filled with useful infomation that Slavinski and Schweitzer have garnered from their voyages.

While the book does not try to present itself as a comprehensive point-to-point guide, it offers a great deal in the way of advice and recomendations on everthing from dealing with officials, winds, currents and navigation, to the day-to-day challenges of ocean voyaging with a small family. A recommended and delightful read.
