Maine boatbuilders Lyman-Morse have set April 2 as the launch date for Anna, the 65-foot cold-molded sloop currently being built in Thomaston. This video shows some aspects of the boat's build, including the exacting process of lifting the deck and positioning and bonding it to the hull.

In the video Drew Lyman talks about the precision of the new, computerized equipment Layman Morse uses for boatbuilding. According to Lyman, "measure twice, cut once", has become "measure once, cut once."

Anna was drawn by Stephens Waring Yacht Design in Belfast, Maine.
