Voyagers through the Panama Canal

Contributing editors Jeff and Raine Williams just passed through the Panama Canal aboard their J40 Gryphon, en route to the South Pacific. They sent along a few photos. One shot shows Jeff in the cockpit with the lock doors closing behind him.

The other image shows one of the the usual denizens of the canal: large merchant ships that seem like lumber hills next to a sleek voyaging sailboat.
