Icom Introduces New Marine Radios with Built-in GPS at 2015 Miami International Boat Show

KIRKLAND, Wash. – Icom America is showcasing four new marine radios at the 2015 Progressive® Insurance Miami Boat Show in Florida. The two-way radio manufacturer will introduce the new IC-M324, the IC-M324G, and the IC-M424G with an updated COMMANDMICIV™ (HM-195GB/GW). Radio features include Class D DSC, intuitive user interface and built-in GPS (G versions only) for simple installation. Icom’s new fixed mount radios and other communications products will be on display at Booth #1605 (Electronics room) for the duration of the show, February 12-16, at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

The M324, M324G and M424G all feature Icom’s popular user interface design, Class D DSC, rugged MIL-STD and IPX7 waterproof construction, and Black or Super White color options. The M324G and M424G (G versions) feature an integrated GPS receiver, which can be used for DSC and displays current position, date and time. Additional features for the M424G include active noise cancelling and connection to the updated COMMANDMIC remote control microphone. Both the M424G and HM-195GB/GW accessory feature a white backlit screen and laser-cut rubber keys for a distinct, modern look.

Icom America will also be exhibiting its popular M506 fixed mount radio, the 2014 NMEA® product award recipient for Best Marine VHF Radio. The M506 and select Icom radios are currently eligible for a mail-in rebate. Promotion details may be obtained at Icom’s Booth #1605 – Electronics room or online. Other products on booth display include the M400BB, the M92D and the IP100H wireless LAN radio system for large yachts, marinas and commercial vessels.
