Chuck Husick was a friend and we spoke often about the Furuno product line. I'm happy to report that he was a very satisfied Furuno customer as well.
Indeed, Chuck was the first technical editor to see and produce an article about the Furuno Navnet 3D line when we introduced it to the market.
Over the years, Chuck had many constructive comments on how to improve Furuno products and I can honestly say that some of his recommendations were actually incorporated into our TZtouch technology. Notably, Chuck had a policy to always test and actually use the products that he wrote about in his columns. This separated Chuck from many other writers in the Marine Electronics industry.
Furuno is proud to receive this technology award that bears his name for our revolutionary Navnet TZtouch technology! We will continue to live up to the standards that Chuck exemplified in terms of both technology and performance as well as safety.
Sincerely,
Furuno U.S. Product Manager
