HBI, leading builders of high performance recreational hard bottom inflatable boats announce the latest addition to their range – the HBI 28 Four Seasons. The 28 Four Seasons is a 28ft lightweight, rigid inflatable which incorporates a spacious two berth cabin with head, and still allows room for a walk around deck, providing easy access to the forward cockpit.
The boat is based on a proven deep V hull design by C, Raymond Hunt Associates, who have designed all HBI boats. Employing high tech construction techniques, advanced composite materials, including carbon fiber and Kevlar fabrics, epoxy resins and vacuum bagging, HBI has been able to reduce weight and increase strength to produce a fast, light boat combining high performance with comfort, while maintaining the robust sea keeping characteristics for which HBI is known. The lightweight construction combines with modern outboard technology to deliver high performance with lower power and greater fuel efficiency.
The HBI 28 Four Seasons can be seen at the Newport International Boat Show together with three other boats in the HBI Hard Bottom Inflatable range – the HBI 18 Sport GT, the HBI 22 Sport GT, and the HBI 28 Center Console, which is built on the same high tech. hull as the HBI 28 Four Seasons.
