Scotia 44 sails home

Snyder’s Shipyard of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia has recently formed a partnership with Maple Marine Design Group of Ontario to produce the Scotia 44 expedition yacht. The design features twin diesels, dual helm stations with a deck saloon and pilot house. She is available for semi-custom interior layouts. The prototype was unveiled at the Miami Strictly Sail in February 2012. In a fitting tribute to Nova Scotia ’s famous Bluenose II schooner currently being rebuilt in Lunenburg, every Scotia 44 will feature wood from the schooner to carry the tradition into the future.
