Animated Knots is a new smartphone/tablet app from a family-owned company called Grog LLC. It is an animated, instructional guide to tying a wide variety of knots, hitches, and bends.
The app categorizes the knots into six categories such as boating, climbing, rescue, etc. The process of tying each knot is presented using contrasting colored ropes through animation that can be stopped during the tying process, or reversed.
