The world’s oldest and largest boat show with in-water displays of new boats and the nation’s largest boat owners’ group are again collaborating to create a recipe for success this fall. United States Yacht Shows, Inc. and Boat Owners Association of The United States (BoatUS) announce the renewal of their boat show sponsorship agreement for 2011.
For the past several years, BoatUS has been named a Premier Sponsor of these two significant events in the boating year: the United States Sailboat Show, held October 6-10, 2011 and the United States Powerboat Show held October 13-16, 2011. Both events are located in Annapolis, Maryland. The sailboat show is in its 42nd year, while the powerboat show is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
Special door prizes of weeklong charters will be offered again this year to two lucky winners. Sunsail Yacht Charters will provide a sailing vacation to the British Virgin Islands while The Moorings will provide a one-week power cat charter with the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board providing airfare for both prizes. BoatUS is the nation’s leading advocate for recreational boaters providing its over half-million members with government representation, services such as boat towing and insurance, boating safety programs and money saving benefits. A comprehensive promotional campaign targeting the association’s membership through BoatUS Magazine, both digital edition and print, the monthly eLine membership newsletter, BoatUS.com, and electronic email are included in the agreement.
