Trawler festival attracts

Each year, trawler enthusiasts gather to swap stories, share trawler wisdom and gawk at each other’s boats at the Trawler Fest. At the festival in Poulsbo, Wash., June 8 to 10, Ocean Navigator was on hand to deliver the award for the person who traveled the farthest to reach the rendezvous. It went to Hal Wyman, who voyaged aboard his Seaton-design Que Linda! from Honduras. The 55-foot vessel is equipped with a 275-hp Caterpillar 3406.

Trawler Fest is sponsored by West Marine. Upcoming events will be held in Mystic, Conn. (Aug. 3 to 5); Manitowoc, Wis. (Aug. 17 to 19); and Solomons, Md. (Sept. 28 to 30). Visit www.trawlerfest.com for details on upcoming events and services.
